Nyman Ink is an Imagine Canada Caring Company — the country’s leading corporate citizenship initiative. Last year in the spirit of giving back, each of our talented team members chose a worthy cause to support during the holiday season. The campaign was so successful informing our friends and clients about worthy charities and raising money for these organizations, that we decided to do it again. Each team member has again chosen a favourite charity, and we want you to vote for the one(s) you like best. We’ll be making a donation to each of these organizations, based on your feedback. Cast your vote — as often as you like — and our donation to that organization will grow! We’ll let you know, in January, how your votes played out.

Jen’s Pick: Canadian Physicians for Aid and Relief (CPAR) supports community efforts in East Africa to ensure access to clean water, adequate food, primary health services and a safe and healthy environment. The organization works with community members and envisions a world in which all individuals, families and communities are able to lead healthy and dignified lives where their rights are respected and their basic needs are met.

Nicola’s Pick: This is Canada’s first MS capital campaign, run by the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada. The campaign target is to raise $60 million to recruit, train, support and retain the next generation of MS researchers in Canada, and to accelerate their research activities to find a cure and improved treatments for MS.
Peter Munk Cardiac Centre
Voting closed.
Judy’s Pick: The Peter Munk Cardiac Centre at Toronto General Hospital gave my father his life back. The Centre provides world-class cardiovascular care and is one of the largest facilities of its kind in North America. Despite its size, the PMCC’s multidisciplinary team focuses on treating individual patients with compassion and respect, and helping cardiac patients and families at every stage of their care.
Sketch Toronto
Voting closed.
Ryan’s Pick: Sketch Toronto is about creating art-making opportunities in the lives of street-involved and homeless youth. Art making is a curious way to address homelessness or poverty, but Sketch’s efforts foster creativity, self-discovery and personal empowerment. Art making facilitates participation in community life and in the making of culture.
Starlight Children’s Foundation Canada
Voting closed.
Bonnie’s Pick: Imagine if your child had a serious illness and hope seemed a distant reality. Starlight Children’s Foundation Canada improves the lives of seriously ill children, and their families, by restoring joy and improving quality of life through activities, entertainment, education and wish-granting. While researchers look for cures and doctors work to restore a child's health, Starlight works to restore the entire family's spirits.
Thank you for your participation in our Give-a-Thon.
Happy Holidays from Nyman Ink.
